Squad XI
Squad XI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) sets out below, in this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”), how we handle user information in the football squad-building app “Squad XI” (the “Service”).

The Service stores the following information in your device’s local storage (such as your browser’s localStorage). This information is never transmitted over the network to us or to any third party.
When you use the backup export/import feature, this data is only written to or read from a file on your own device through your own actions; we are not involved.
To improve the quality of the Service and to provide certain features (such as compiling “popular players”), when you save a team we send the following information to our analytics server.
This information contains no personally identifying information whatsoever, such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or your device’s contacts or photos. It is used solely to compile, on an anonymous basis, which players are most often selected, in order to power rankings and improve the Service.
When the Service is displayed or communicates over the network, information such as your IP address, the date and time of access, and your environment (browser and OS type, etc.) may be recorded as standard access logs on our hosting providers’ servers. This information is used only to the extent necessary to prevent misuse and to operate the Service reliably.
Except where required by law, we do not sell or disclose the information we collect to third parties. We use the following external services to operate the Service.

These providers’ servers may be located outside Japan, and information may therefore be transferred to and stored overseas. Each provider handles information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
As of the effective date of this Policy, the Service does not display third-party advertising. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will revise this Policy beforehand and specify how the advertising providers handle information.
The Service does not use cookies to track users. Settings and data are stored in your device’s local storage, as described above.
We take reasonable security measures for the information we collect, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and anonymization. However, because the data described in Section 2(1) is stored only on your device, we cannot be held responsible for its loss due to loss or failure of your device, erasure of data, or similar events. We recommend using the backup feature for important data.
You can delete the information stored on your device at any time by using the Service or by clearing the app’s or browser’s data. Because the anonymous usage statistics are handled in a form that cannot identify individuals, they are, as a rule, not subject to individual requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion. If you have any questions or requests regarding this Policy, however, please contact us using the details below.
The Service does not actively collect personal information such as names from users. If you are a minor, please use the Service with the understanding of a parent or guardian.
We may revise this Policy in response to changes in applicable law or in the Service. If we make a significant change, we will announce it by posting on this page. The revised Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
